Kriya Yoga Practice
Kriya Yoga is an ancient meditation technique that was revived in modern times by Mahavtar Babaji and taught through a lineage of great masters including Lahiri Mahasaya, Sri Yukteshwar, and Paramhansa Yogananda. It is a scientific method of self-realization that accelerates spiritual evolution through specific pranayama (breathing) techniques, meditation, and devotion.

While most popular yoga focuses on physical postures (asanas), Kriya Yoga is primarily a meditation and pranayama-based practice focused on inner transformation and Self-realization. It works directly with the life force (prana) and spine to accelerate spiritual evolution. It is considered the highest form of Raja Yoga.

Each level builds upon the previous one.

Sadhana & Daily Practice
For beginners, we recommend 20-30 minutes of morning practice and 15-20 minutes in the evening. As you progress, you can gradually increase the duration. Consistency is more important than duration - it is better to practice 20 minutes daily than 2 hours occasionally. Your guru will guide you on the ideal practice duration for your level.

The ideal times for practice are during the Brahma Muhurta (approximately 4:00-6:00 AM) and in the evening before dinner. These are considered the most auspicious times when the spiritual atmosphere is most conducive. However, any time you can practice with full concentration is beneficial.

Signs of progress include: increased inner peace and calmness, reduced reactivity to external situations, deeper meditation experiences, feeling of divine love and compassion, improved focus and clarity, better physical health, and a natural inclination toward spiritual activities. Progress is gradual - trust the process and your guru's guidance.
